Impossible? I

This weeks group sessions in design thinking had our group dreaming up crazier and crazier ways to improve the average commute. What if you could play a game while you commuted? What if you could make public transit for every individual? What if you could commute virtually? What if... you didn't have to commute at all? I'm sure if there had been designing thinking classes in the 1400's someone would have suggested that people might just explore the seas by flying over them like a bird, and that idea would have been deemed impossible. That was the word that came to mind when I saw this video, although I have often thought, why wheels? As crazy a publicity stunt as this may be, history has taught us never to say never. What if?
